Iceland - June 2022
Landscapes
After the Corona hiatus, this was our first
trip again - with
www.fotografie-reizen.nl to the Westfjords region of Iceland. Sparsely
populated - even by Icelandic standards - it offers great
landscape/waterfall photo opportunities, harlequin and eider ducks, golden
plovers, red throated loons, fulmars, humpback whales, comfortable lodging,
wonderful cooking and much much more.
The weather was variable, generally cool (but not cold in June) with bright
sunny days between rain and wind, and we still managed to shoot good
pictures every day. At a spot with a particularly wide view, we

A busy week, but very enjoyable and we consider coming back to Iceland..
