In June 2025 we made a trip to the Pyrenees - Jaca, Spain - with Henkjan Kievit, to photograph butterflies and any other insects that we could find. A mountainous area offers different opportunities at different elevation levels, so we saw quite a variety of butterflies, moths, dragonflies and other critters.
Our travelgroup was a pleasure to be with, the
hotel in Jaca was quiet and pleasant, the weather was not too hot, our
tourguides Henkjan and Kars did an excellent job and so we had a wonderful
time.
